General Therapy Questions
-
In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other. I'll ask about what brings you to therapy, your history, and your goals. This is also your opportunity to ask me any questions you might have. Remember, the first session is about establishing comfort and determining if we're a good fit for working together.
-
Typically, our sessions will last 50 minutes. However, I offer longer sessions if needed, which we can discuss based on your specific needs.
-
Most clients start with weekly sessions. As you progress, we might adjust the frequency. The schedule is flexible and we'll determine what works best for you.

Anxiety Treatment Questions

The timeline varies for each individual. Some clients notice improvements within a few weeks, while for others, it may take longer. We'll regularly assess your progress and adjust our approach as needed.
-
Not necessarily. Many people find relief from anxiety through therapy alone. If we believe medication might be beneficial, I can provide a referral to a psychiatrist for an evaluation.
ADHD Evaluation Questions

The evaluation typically involves several sessions. We'll conduct a comprehensive interview, use standardized assessments to measure attention and executive functioning, review your history, and evaluate how ADHD symptoms impact your daily life. Afterwards, I'll provide a detailed report with my findings and recommendations.
